James Lind has more than 26 years of experience in the natural gas industry. Most recently Mr. Lind was responsible for the formation of Midstream Energy Services, LLC in 2004 and served as its President and Manager until November 2008. Mr. Lind guided Midstream to the development of nearly $150 million in asset value through private negotiation of several acquisitions and the grass roots development of two key processing and treating assets of the company in the Texas and Oklahoma panhandle regions.
Prior to 2004, he was Executive Vice President of and partner in Frontier Energy Services, LLC where Mr. Lind guided the company through two natural gas processing/treating/gathering acquisitions and one grass roots treating project, culminating with a $130+ million sale of Frontier's assets in June 2004 to the Southern Ute Indian Tribe ("SUIT"). Mr. Lind managed all business development, gas supply, engineering and operating activities during his tenure with Frontier. Prior to Frontier, Mr. Lind was President and majority owner of Mercury Energy, Inc. where he initiated contractual relationships with all four major natural gas industry segments (production, pipeline, marketing and utility) to fund corporate development of engineering and investment opportunities. In its initial year of operation, Mercury Energy exceeded 200% growth of original invested capital. Completed projects involved engineering, business evaluation, and acquisition due diligence, ranging from $600 thousand to $50 million in the upstream and midstream sectors. Mr. Lind also negotiated long-term funding relationships for partnership interest in the development of domestic 500MW natural gas-fired electric generation facilities.

Prior to starting Mercury, Mr. Lind held various progressive positions with Delhi Gas Pipeline Corp., Sun Pipe Line Company, Duke Energy, and American Central Gas Corp., involving natural gas pipeline and processing plant operations, engineering management, and business development roles. Mr. Lind also served as the Co-Chairman of the FERC subcommittee on gas industry standards. In 1983, Mr. Lind graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He resides in Tulsa and has two children.
As Senior Vice President of Business Development, Jeff Felberg brings more than 25 years of experience in the areas of natural gas gathering, processing, trading, exploration and production, and business development to Legion Energy Services. His responsibilities include the negotiation and management of gas purchasing, gathering and processing contracts related to Legion's gathering and processing assets; and developing strategic business and industry relationships that create value for the company.
Prior to joining Legion, Jeff enjoyed a long career with BP and its predecessor, Amoco, in Houston and Chicago. While at BP, he most recently held the role of Business Development Project Manager for BP Exploration & Production in Houston, where he was responsible for negotiating Production Handling Agreements and other commercial deals around BP's infrastructure in the deepwater Gulf of Mexico. Prior to this position he served as Business Development Director, North America Gas, for BP America Production Company. As Business Development Director, Jeff was instrumental in developing the strategic direction for BP's mid-continent natural gas processing assets. This involved identifying opportunities to increase gas processing volumes, divest non-strategic assets, and optimize gathering systems to maximize production. In this position he was also responsible for analyzing and negotiating third party gas contracts, and evaluating plant operating agreements.
Previous to his position as Business Development Director, Jeff served as Commercial Asset Lead within BP's North America Gas Business Unit; Midstream Negotiator, Gulf of Mexico/Permian Basin, BP America Production Company; Account Manager/Natural Gas Trader, BP Amoco Trading, all in Houston. Prior to his positions in Houston, Jeff worked in Amoco's Exploration & Production Strategic Planning Group, and was a Business Development Group Leader for Amoco Chemical Company, both of these roles were located in Chicago.
Jeff earned degrees in chemistry from California State Polytechnic University in Pomona, California and from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles; and his MBA in corporate finance and business economics also from the University of Southern California. Jeff resides in Houston and has three daughters.
John Dolan brings more than 30 years of experience in a wide range of engineering disciplines, construction management and field operations to his position at Legion Energy Services. As Vice President of Engineering, John is responsible for the company's engineering design, procurement and implementation of asset equipment and processes.
John began his career as a process engineer for Amoco Production Company in Andrews, Texas. He then held numerous engineering and project management positions for McGill, Inc., McGill International, McGill Environmental Systems, and IT-McGill Pollution Control Systems. From 1992 to 1996, John brought his skills to John Zink Company, where he first served as General Manager of the Vapour Control Group for European Operations in Amersham, England, before being named Manager of the Controls Engineering group there. Upon returning to the USA, he served as Process Leader of Controls Engineering for John Zink Company in Tulsa. John's tenure with Syntroleum Corporation began in 1996 when he was named Manager of Operations. John was part of the team that designed and chose the location for a 70 bpd facility, known as the Catoosa Demonstration Facility (CDF), that converted natural gas to finished synthetic diesel and jet fuel. John later served as the CDF Construction-Maintenance Manager and then CDF Plant Manager. During his time as Plant Manager, Syntroleum provided 100,000 gallons of synthetic jet fuel to the military for certification of the B-52 on synthetic fuel. John's final role there was as Facilities Operations Manager.
As an independent consultant, John most recently assisted in the startup of incineration equipment in the United Arab Emirates.
John graduated the University of Missouri at Rolla with a bachelor's of science degree in chemical engineering.
As Controller, Ashley Davis is responsible for the oversight of the company's financial accounting, as well as other duties including assistance with strategic planning, budgets, forecasts, and due diligence for Legion acquisitions and business development.
Ashley served as Senior Manager for KPMG in the audit practice from 2003 to 2009, first in Costa Mesa, California, and most recently in Tulsa, where she managed approximately 10,000 associate hours and $2 million in annual revenues. Her responsibilities included the planning, management and execution of audits for numerous clients, including two public companies in Orange County and one public company in Tulsa with $2 to $12 billion in revenues; conducting quantitative analyses of financial statements and qualitative analyses of client business models; determining the appropriate accounting treatment for various transactions; and numerous other duties.
Ashley graduated Magna Cum Laude from Pepperdine University with a bachelor's of science degree in accounting. She is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Oklahoma, California and Kansas, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Tim Hawk brings more than 25 years of energy industry experience to his position as Director of Oil and Gas Accounting. In his position, Tim is responsible for all revenue accounting for Legion and its subsidiaries.
Tim previously served as Senior Advisor for ConocoPhillips, where he was responsible for all aspects of crude oil accounting, including management reporting, analysis of financial results and system development and control. His 20-year tenure with the company in Houston, Texas, and later in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, provided opportunities to develop cost-savings process improvements, lead complex projects and system implementations, perform budget preparation and long-range planning for all mid-stream operations, assist in strategy development for gas and NGL marketing as well as providing functional excellence for all administrative activities for all gas processing and fractionation facilities along the Louisiana Gulf Coast. His prior roles with ConocoPhillips included positions as Coordinator, SAP Implementation, Gas Marketing Accounting; Supervisor, Gas Marketing Accounting; Coordinator, Financial Analysis; Coordinator, Business Services; Coordinator Eastern Operating Center and JIO and several others. Tim also served as Gas Plant and Products Accountant for Union Texas Petroleum in Houston.
Tim received his MBA in finance from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, and his bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Oklahoma.
